Updated on April 29th, 2024
Want to know which literary agents are accepting submissions in 2024? Then look no further.
I’ve put together a list of literary agents who are new to the business and are actively building their client roll, as well as more established agents who are accepting submissions right now.
Top tip: Quite often, agents will announce on social media that they are opening their inboxes to manuscript queries for a limited time so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on Twitter (sorry, X!)… while it’s still alive. I’ll update this post every so often to include information on these submission windows.

Kesia Lupo
Who better to include in this list than my INCREDIBLE new literary agent Kesia Lupo? Especially as she is actively building her list.
**UPDATE! Kesia is currently closed to queries except in the following categories: middle-grade (all genres), women’s/upmarket fiction, non-fiction (cultural/social issues, entertainment, narrative, pop culture, psychology, true crime, history) **
I submitted to Kesia through Query Tracker in summer 2023 and signed with her in early autumn. I feel so lucky to be represented by such a consummate professional.
Kesia is originally from the UK but is now based in the US where she works for the Bindery Agency. This means that her submissions span both the UK and the US markets which I feel is a big plus.
As a former senior editor at UK children’s book publisher Chicken House and a published author herself, Kesia has huge experience in the publishing industry and is also really hands-on when it comes to working with her authors to edit and improve their books – another huge benefit for me as my MS was in need of work!
I could probably fill this whole post with glowing praise for Kesia… but we have lots of other agents to get to, so here are her details:
Twitter: @keslupo
What is she looking for? In general, Kesia looking for fiction for middle-grade, YA and adult readers (my novel is women’s fiction). She will also consider popular, accessible non-fiction.
Her manuscript wishlist can be found here: https://www.manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/kesia-lupo/
How can you submit to her? Query Submission (querymanager.com)
If you submit to Kesia through the general agency inbox as listed on the Bindery website, there is a high chance she won’t see it!
Extra info: Even if you don’t submit to Kesia, I highly recommend signing up to her Substack newsletter which gives extremely useful insights into the world of publishing. You can sign up here:
